I think it would be an excellent idea to have a very comprehensive manual that explains everything from how to get a lottery license to how to get a liquor permit. If it could be online and in print form it would be really helpful. Perhaps we could update it every year?

Hi GCSU,
it occured to me that it would be great if the GCSU had a mental health strategy. The goal of this strategy would be to:
1) ensure students from historically marginalized and/or oppressed backgrounds (LGBT students, students with disabilities, aboriginal students, international students, student parents, students older than average, and female students) have the resources in place to successfully complete their education.
Since these groups in society have history faced discrimination and oppression, it would be great for the GCSU to work with clubs and societies to find out what aspects of mental health they want addressed on-campus. Then the VP Academic could bring all those concerns up to the university adminstration on their behalf.
